Insulation work in Kawartha Lakes

Three-season buildings share a predictable set of problems: an open or vented crawl space, a floor system exposed to the outdoors, a cathedral ceiling with two inches of insulation in a rafter bay that cannot fit more, and no air barrier anywhere. Batts cannot solve that geometry. Closed-cell spray foam usually can, because it delivers the R-value in the depth available and seals the assembly at the same time.

The other half of the work here is comfort and cost: a place that is expensive to heat on propane or electric baseboard, freezes up when you are not there, or takes a full day to warm up when you arrive on a Friday night.
