Sophia's Garden (Artisan) Inc. operates from Thunder Bay, Ontario, under licences issued by Health Canada. We make our own brands in the same facility where we manufacture for other licence holders. Formulation and production sit in the same building either way.
Cannabinoid inputs and food ingredients are received under the record-keeping the licence requires.
The cannabinoid is built into the cocoa butter phase as a controlled step of its own.
The batch is tempered and moulded into individual units under controlled temperature and humidity.

Since 2022 this facility has produced more than thirty cannabis SKUs for other licence holders and delivered over a million units into Ontario and four other provinces. It carries both warehouse and flow-through experience. A buyer assessing whether we can supply a listing is really asking whether we have done this before, and we have.
We work in small batches. In edible manufacturing that means each production run is small enough to be checked closely and adjusted, rather than large enough that problems are discovered after the fact.
Chocolate manufacturing has its own standards — temperature control, humidity control, sanitation, and the handling practices any food producer is held to. Cannabis regulation is layered on top of that, not instead of it, and both apply at every step.
The people who develop the formulation are in the same building as the people who make it. That is most of what “craft” means here.
Northwestern Ontario is not the obvious place to build a cannabinoid manufacturing facility. It is where the company is from, and keeping manufacturing local is a deliberate part of what the business is.
